Continue walking for another three hours through beautiful landscapes and small villages to Yasakyi, a Palaung hill tribe village. The Palaung people belong to the earliest inhabitants in Myanmar and have kept to their tradition living with several families in long-houses, cultivating cash crops and tanapet for Burmese cheroot cigars.
Traditional burmese breakfast will be served today. You can decide, if you like to start the trekking tour early morning by climbing to Yasakyi peak. Hike to another settlement and small mountain villages around the region before walking to Pindaya. You have a choice between several trails taking four to eight hours trekking to reach the valley. After breakfast at hotel, you will visit the Pindaya Caves - a unique site housing thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over the last centuries. Afterwards we will provide a private transfer to your hotel in Nyaung Shwe (Inle-Lake). Here artisans produce one of the most expensive and rarest textiles in the world: silk made from lotus flowers.
Depending on the water level, you will join another boat trip to the western shore of the Inle-Lake after breakfast and visit the Indein Pagoda complex, where hundreds of impressive stupas are slowly being reclaimed by nature.
