Please Note
To confirm your booking details, please send an e-mail at least 48 hours prior to departure. Please make sure you have a printed voucher with you and present it to our staff at the meeting point.
Once booked, refunds are not available due to reservation requirements.
Guide service will not be included for single traveler.
Pick up: Hotel pick-up may be as early as 1 hour prior to tour start time. Please be ready in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to the pick-up time provided. We will confirm you one day earlier a precise time by email.
Drop off: After the tour, our vehicle will drop off the passengers back to the hotel.
Tour lengths are a time frame based on the normal traffic, it might be shorten or prolonged depends on the day by day traffic conditions.

Full Itinerary

Pick-up at your hotel at 8:00 am for the drive to Amarapura, 15 km (30 minutes) from Mandalay. Visit MAHAGANDAYON, a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study; continue to the 200-year-old U BEIN teak bridge built in 1782 when Amarapura was Royal Capital. Visit BAGAYA MONASTERY with a superb collection of Buddha statues. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the former Royal Capital of INWA (AVA) reached by a short boat trip. The visit by horse-drawn carriage includes the NANMYINT WATCH TOWER, also called 'the leaning tower of Ava', the only remains of the old palace building, MAHA AUNGMYE BONZAN MONASTERY built of brick and stucco and BARGAYAR MONASTERY, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. Continue to SAGAING HILLS, a retreat for Buddhist devotees for sunset. Return to your hotel at 18:00 pm.
