Once booked, refunds are not available due to reservation requirements.

Pick up: Hotel pick-up may be as early as 1 hour prior to tour start time. Please be ready in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to the pick-up time provided. We will confirm you one day earlier a precise time by email.
Drop off: After the tour, our vehicle will drop off the passengers back to the hotel.

Full Itinerary

Pick-up at your hotel and transfer to the jetty. Board your private boat for an interesting down river journey on the Ayeyarwaddy River (2 - 3 hr depending on river conditions) to SALE, a town that developed during the late BAGAN era. Explore the YOKE SONE MONASTERY built in 1882 by King THIPAW, the last king of Myanmar to witness its exceptional woodcarvings on the outside of the building. Proceed to nearly 150 years old teak monastery, SARSANA YAUNGCHI which was even built earlier by his father King MINDON where you can study Ancient Buddha images, antique large cabinets decorated with a variety of floral motif, Myanmar painting done in gold and silver colors on silk fabric. Inside the cabinets, full of silk packets containing Buddhist scripture written on palm leaves pertaining to 18th century. Annex to the monastery, there is a monastic school for village children and the teachers where you may be able to also witness how they study.
Drive to MOUNT POPA (65 km - 1&half hr), an extinct volcano with spectacular views. The place is dedicated to animist spirits known as "nats" and you will have time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top. Return to Bagan. On the way, make a short break at a toddy palm plantation and if time permits, visit a typical local village.

1. Children 3 years old and under are free. Children above 3 years will need to be paid as Adults.
2. For Ballooning tours, children under the age of 8 years will not be allowed to fly. Children aged between 8 and 16 years will need to be paid as Adults, and must be over 137cm tall (4 feet 6 inches). Additionally, they need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
