Get to know the traditional flavors of Myanmar through cooking up your own lunch. Shop for ingredients at a local market with your instructors and discover the nuances of Burmese cuisine as you prepare the food with help from a chef.
In the morning, at 08:00 A.M, get picked up at your hotel to go to the Pansodan Jetty, where you catch the ferry across to Dala Jetty. In Dala, an instructor will pick you up by rickshaw and take you to a tea shop where you have the opportunity to taste the local tea.
After, head to the location for your cooking class and enjoy a welcome drink. Get acquainted with the cooking instructors as they explain the menu for the day and itemize your shopping list.
Head to the vibrant, local market altogether and to peruse the local offerings and shop for the ingredients needed to prepare your tasty lunch. Once you have everything you need, it is time to start cooking. Don't worry even if you are new to Burmese cuisine, detailed explanations and instructions will be given by a chef to help you prepare an authentic and scrumptious meal.
Finish your class with the best part — eating and enjoying the food you cooked together.
